Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NAVA Software Solutions is seeking a Senior / Lead Gen AI Engineer to design and build production-grade LLM applications. The role involves architecting robust systems, optimizing AI workflows, and providing technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- AI Architecture & Development:Design and build production-grade LLM applications using leading foundation models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude 3, Gemini, Llama) and agentic frameworks
- RAG Implementation: Architect and optimize robust RAG pipelines and semantic search systems using vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate)
- Agentic Workflows: Develop multi-agent systems and task-oriented AI workflows using tools like LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI
- Model Evaluation & Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve AI model performance, latency, response quality, and hallucination rates
- Enterprise Integration: Seamlessly integrate AI features into existing backend systems, microservices, and databases
- Technical Leadership: Guide architectural "build vs. buy" decisions, enforce coding best practices, and mentor mid-level/junior developers
Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years specifically focused on building and deploying Generative AI and LLM applications
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases
- Solid background in deploying AI workloads using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, and modern API design
- Familiarity with Node.js or TypeScript is a plus
