The role involves supporting financial analysis, project management, and transaction entry while providing high-quality client service.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting
- Reconcile balance sheet, income statement, cash, AP, AR, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Execute accounting projects, including analysis, ERP implementations and reporting
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial record errors
- Process and maintain client financial transactions accurately and timely
- Manage accounting tasks and project deadlines
- Communicate with clients to obtain documentation, answer questions, and provide status updates
- Ensure accuracy, accountability, and on-time completion of all assigned client work
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client service
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3+ years of accounting experience required
- Knowledge of general ledger and GAAP accounting practices required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.)
