The Technical Marketing Manager will translate complex EV charging products into compelling narratives and create impactful technical content to support sales and partners.
Responsibilities
- ChargePoint is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to bridge engineering and the market by translating complex EV charging products into clear, compelling technical narratives
- This role will support networked charging hardware, energy management software, and fleet solutions
- You will create high‑impact technical content, enable sales and partners with accurate positioning, and ensure technical materials stay current as products evolve
- This role requires close collaboration with product management and solutions engineering, as well as external engagement through events and customer briefings
- You bring the ability to turn technical product details into buyer‑focused storytelling that drives understanding and adoption
- Your work will improve sales effectiveness, strengthen product differentiation, and ensure customers and partners have clear, accurate technical guidance
- You operate independently, stay close to evolving product capabilities, and use modern tools—including AI—to scale content creation and maintain quality
Skills
- Technical background in EV charging, including knowledge of OCPP, energy management, fleet electrification, or charging infrastructure
- Proven ability to independently create technical marketing content (e.g., white papers, solution briefs, diagrams, demos)
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts
- Comfortable working hands‑on with products and collaborating closely with engineering teams
- Experience using AI tools to support content creation, research, and analysis
- Experience developing competitive technical comparisons based on product capabilities
- Familiarity with creating architecture diagrams and integration guides
- Experience supporting product launches with technical positioning and enablement materials
- Track record of maintaining and scaling technical content libraries
- Public speaking experience at industry events, webinars, or customer briefings
