Dabwoods is launching Terpwoods, a new premium product line built around high-quality Live Resin and Hash Rosin vapes, and they're hiring Account Managers to drive it into Northern California. The role involves managing key accounts, executing launch strategies, and representing the brand at various events.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of key retail and distribution accounts across Northern California, serving as their primary point of contact
- Partner directly with the Sales Director and marketing team to target priority accounts and execute the Terpwoods launch strategy
- Open new doors: identify, pitch, and close high-potential retail accounts for the Terpwoods line
- Manage the full account lifecycle, including orders, inquiries, product info, delivery timelines, and issue resolution
- Monitor sell-through and sales performance, spot growth opportunities, and bring data-backed recommendations to the table
- Represent Terpwoods at customer visits, trade events, and industry functions
- Stay sharp on product knowledge, California cannabis regulations, and market trends
Skills
- Proven account management or B2B sales experience, including relationship building, retention, and negotiation
- California cannabis industry experience (required). You know the retail landscape, the compliance environment, and how buyers think
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable negotiating with buyers and purchasing managers
- Organized and self-directed. Able to juggle multiple accounts, track activity, and hit deadlines without hand-holding
- Analytical chops: you can read sales data, spot trends, and turn insights into action
- Proficiency with HubSpot (or comparable CRM), spreadsheets, and standard office software
- Based in Northern California; this is a work-from-home role with regular travel to accounts and industry events throughout the territory
- Ability to travel to our Southern California office at least once per month for team meetings and collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- CPG sales experience
- Existing relationships with NorCal dispensary buyers and chains
- Experience supporting a new product or brand launch
