They are seeking a Business Development professional to expand their market reach and deepen customer relationships, focusing on identifying new partners and nurturing existing accounts while representing the organization at various events.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close new customer accounts across assigned regions
- Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients through regular outreach and site visits
- Plan and execute travel schedules to support customer engagement and market expansion
- Represent the organization at trade shows, technical expos, and customer-facing events
- Collaborate with inside sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless quoting, order entry, and post-sale support
- Maintain detailed CRM records, submit post-trip reports, and contribute to monthly pipeline review
- Develop working knowledge of the sanitary-grade product lines, including fittings, valves, and tubing
- Understand customer applications and provide consultative guidance on product selection and compliance standards
- Stay informed on competitive landscape, market trends, and emerging opportunities
- Participate in onboarding and ongoing training to master ERP workflows and sales processes
Skills
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in PVF distribution or related industrial sectors
- Proven track record in territory development, account management, and revenue growth
- Familiarity with sanitary process systems and industry standards (e.g., 3-A, ASME BPE) preferred
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and general business software
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team; thrives in autonomous environments
- Proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align outreach with broader market trends and company growth goals
