As a Remote Transcript Editor, you will play a critical role in transcribing and editing audio recordings related to insurance claims, utilizing your exceptional listening and editing skills to deliver high-quality transcripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process audio recordings of various scenarios, including car accidents, claims interviews, and emergency calls, to produce verbatim transcripts.
- Edit AI-generated transcriptions to ensure accuracy, adhering to established style guides and client specifications, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and high standards of grammar and clarity.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote work environment, meeting deadlines and client-specific guidelines while demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong listening abilities, with the capacity to discern spoken content accurately.
- Demonstrated adherence to deadlines and client-specific guidelines, with superior literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
- Proficient typing skills, both in speed and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Prior experience in transcription or editing of audio content is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality transcripts.
- Must pass a background check and be a U.S. citizen (note: currently unavailable to residents of Massachusetts, Illinois, or California).
