Responsibilities
- Request documents and information from clients
- Track down missing or additional information required for cases
- Clean up and review legal documents for consistency and completeness
- File and maintain documents accurately
- Support overall workflow to ensure timely case progression
- Draft basic legal documents and correspondence
- Assist attorneys and team members with general legal tasks
- Conduct legal research as assigned
- Support litigation-related tasks and documentation
- Assist with case management and organization of legal files
Skills
- Timezone: EST (Michigan)
- Schedule: 08:30 a.m. to 05:30 p.m. EST
- English proficiency required; Spanish not mandatory
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, especially with elderly clients
- Experience supporting legal teams or similar environments preferred
- Familiarity with estate planning, probate, or business law is a plus
