Avaap is seeking a certified Workday Consultant – Adaptive Planning (Financials) to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of Workday Adaptive Planning solutions. This role partners with clients to design, configure, and deploy planning solutions that improve budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, financial reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support Workday Adaptive Planning implementations and optimization engagements
- Participate in client discovery sessions, design workshops, and solution demonstrations
- Configure Adaptive Planning models including sheets, dimensions, levels, versions, accounts, assumptions, calculations, allocations, security, and reporting
- Assist with solution design for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, capital planning, and strategic financial planning
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, management reports, and executive reporting packages
- Collaborate with Workday Financials, HCM, Integrations, and technical teams to support integrated planning solutions
- Execute system testing, defect resolution, data validation, reconciliation, and deployment activities
- Deliver end-user training and support client knowledge transfer
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders through exceptional communication and service
- Support proposal development, solution demonstrations, and other practice development initiatives as needed

- Certified Workday Consultant – Adaptive Planning (Financials)
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning
- Ability to collaborate with finance and business stakeholders
- Passion about delivering innovative planning solutions
- Configure and support Workday Adaptive Planning implementations and optimization engagements
- Participate in client discovery sessions, design workshops, and solution demonstrations
- Configure Adaptive Planning models including sheets, dimensions, levels, versions, accounts, assumptions, calculations, allocations, security, and reporting

- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Demonstrated success participating in end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations from discovery through post-production support in Higher Education or Government customers
- Experience configuring Workday Adaptive Planning solutions for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting
- Experience supporting Higher Education, Government, Healthcare, Nonprofit, or Commercial organizations is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with functional, technical, and client teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
