Senior Director of Program Management, Global Operations

The Senior Director, Global PMO Operations provides enterprise-level leadership across KBI’s Program Management Office, overseeing complex, multi-modality programs spanning Drug Substance (BDS), Drug Product (DP), and Fill/Finish partner networksand may include other modalities such as ADCs and peptides.

This role is accountable not only for program execution and client delivery, but also forPMO strategy, operational excellence, and organizational maturity. The incumbent serves as a senior client executive partner, ensuring alignment across KBI, clients, and strategic collaborators while proactively managing risks, escalations, and business outcomes.

The role includes global portfolio oversight, leadership of large cross-functional teams, and ownership of PMO processes, tools, and governance frameworks. The Senior Director plays a critical role in scaling new modalities (e.g., ADC) and strengthening KBI’s position as a best-in-class CDMO partner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MastersofBusinessAdministration(MBA),MastersofScience(M.Sc)or Doctorate(Ph.D.)requiredBachelor’sdegree(B.Sc)inscienceorrelated disciplinewith >15 yearsrelevant industryexperience accepted in lieu of advanced degree.

  • PMPcertification(currentorplannedintheimmediatefuture).

  • Minimum15yearsindustryexperience,with8yearsormoredirectproject managementexperiencePriorexperienceeffectivelymanagingprojectsin pharmaceutical or biotech company, CDMO, CRO or related experiencerequired.

  • ExperiencewithclientcontractnegotiationsrequiredPreviouspersonnel management (>5 years) is essential.

  • Demonstratedexperienceinbuildingprojectmanagementtools/templates, improving projectsystemsand implementing best practices.

  • Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguityandchangeAbilitytobuildteamsandgenerateaspirit ofcollaboration while coordinating diverse activities and groups.

The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
