Role Description The Social Impact Donor role is a full-time, remote position focused on advancing Birbal Non-Profit Foundation’s mission through strategic philanthropic engagement and sustained donor partnerships. In this role, the individual will identify, cultivate, and steward prospective and existing donors, including individuals, foundations, and impact-focused organizations aligned with AI for social good. The Social Impact Donor will work closely with leadership and program teams to design and present high-impact giving opportunities, prepare compelling proposals and reports, and communicate the outcomes of funded initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a donor pipeline and CRM records, organizing virtual donor meetings and briefings, coordinating impact updates and storytelling materials, and supporting campaigns, events, and partnerships that expand Birbal’s funding base. The role also involves monitoring funding trends in technology and social impact, providing insights to refine fundraising strategies, and representing Birbal as a mission-driven ambassador across digital channels and networks. Qualifications • Donor relations and fundraising skills, including prospect research, cultivation, stewardship, and long-term relationship management. • Experience with grant writing, proposal development, impact reporting, and creating clear, persuasive philanthropic communications. • Knowledge of philanthropy, social impact, or nonprofit funding landscapes, ideally in technology, AI, or international development. • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, with capacity to translate technical or AI-driven initiatives into accessible narratives. • Proven organizational and project management skills, including managing pipelines, tracking metrics, and meeting deadlines in a remote setting. • Comfort with digital tools and platforms, such as CRM systems, online fundraising tools, video conferencing, and collaborative workspaces. • Demonstrated commitment to social impact, equity, and inclusive innovation, with sensitivity to diverse cultures and communities. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business, Public Policy, International Development, Communications) or equivalent practical experience. • Prior experience in nonprofit fundraising, impact investing, corporate social
