Position Overview ModRN Health is seeking a Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to join our virtual behavioral health team in a PRN capacity. This role is designed for a clinician who may already have a primary position but is looking to augment their career with meaningful, relationship-based therapy work in a collaborative care model. This is not a gig-based, anonymous chat platform or high-volume teletherapy role. ModRN’s care model is built around long-term trust, continuity, and coordinated support. As a PRN counselor, you would carry a small panel of members, up to 10 active members at a time, allowing you to provide thoughtful, individualized care without the pressure of an overwhelming caseload. Our members are employees and families served through employer-sponsored health benefits. They may come from diverse urban, suburban, and worksite-based populations and may be navigating concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues, family or relational challenges, and workplace-related pressures. At ModRN Health, behavioral health is integrated into the broader care team. You will work alongside nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to help ensure members receive coordinated support across both physical and mental health needs. This allows you to focus on high-quality therapy while knowing the member is supported more holistically. Responsibilities The Spanish-speaking LCPC will provide virtual therapy services through scheduled, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions. Responsibilities include: • Provide therapy to a small panel of members, up to 10 active members at a time. • Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. • Deliver evidence-based therapy focused on measurable progress and member-centered goals. • Support members experiencing workplace stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, relational concerns, and other common behavioral health needs. • Coordinate care with internal clinical team members, including nurses and physicians, when appropriate and with proper consent. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR. • Participate in case collaboration, team communication, and quality improvement efforts as needed. • Follow all ethical, legal, and clinical standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, mandated reporting, and appropriate escalation of higher-acuity concerns. • Maintain flexible PRN availability that supports members’ schedules, which may include early morning or evening appointment options. Qualifications Required qualifications include: • Bilingual in English and Spanish. • Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license in Illinois. • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. • At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience. • Comfort providing care through telehealth. • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a virtual environment. • Ability to document clearly, professionally, and on time. • Commitment to relationship-based, outcomes-informed care. • Willingness to obtain additional credentialing if needed. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: • Experience working with employee populations, EAP services, corporate wellness, or integrated behavioral health models. • Experience with CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, or other evidence-based modalities. • Experience collaborating with medical teams or working in an integrated care environment. • Crisis management experience and comfort identifying when a member needs a higher level of care. • Additional state licenses are a plus. Compensation This is a PRN position with competitive hourly compensation based on licensure, experience, Spanish-language proficiency, schedule availability, and credentials. Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits: • Employee discount Work Location: Remote
