The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated, early-career CPA who is eager to develop their skills in a busy, client-facing public accounting environment. What You'll Do ● Prepare individual and business tax returns under the guidance of senior staff (individuals, S-corps, partnerships, and more) ● Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks for business clients ● Help respond to client inquiries and IRS/state notices with supervision ● Learn and work within our tax preparation and practice management software ● Develop client communication skills by participating in meetings and correspondence ● Grow your technical knowledge across a wide variety of return types and industries What We're Looking For ● CPA license required or actively in progress (New York) ● 3–5 years of public accounting experience, with a solid foundation in individual and business tax preparation ● Familiarity with pass-through entity returns (S-corps, partnerships) — multi-state experience a plus ● Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is a plus but not required ● Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn ● Team player who takes initiative and wants to grow with the firm long-term Compensation & Benefits ● Salary: $100,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience ● Long-term equity potential — we invest in people who invest in us ● Mentorship and professional development from experienced senior staff ● Collaborative, supportive work environment ● Nassau County, Long Island — hybrid
