Providing high-quality medical nutrition therapy and weight management education, the part-time Texas Licensed Telehealth Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to establish goals and conduct assessments for patients' nutrition care Documents nutrition care plans and provides tailored medical nutrition therapy and education to patients and families Promotes professional development and supports department goals through mentoring and continuing education Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area; Master's required if registration obtained after Jan 1, 2024 Registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) CPR Certification (Heart Saver) from American Red Cross or American Heart Association, or obtained within six months of hire Completion of a qualified professional experience required for the registered dietitian exam Ability to interact positively with diverse populations and effective communication skills
