About the position As a Legal Intake and Docketing Assistant at Job Duck, you will play a critical role in keeping legal operations organized, accurate, and moving forward without interruption. Responsibilities • Maintain and update docketing systems daily to ensure accuracy of deadlines • Intake new legal matters and ensure they are properly opened, recorded, and tracked • Support legal filings and structured legal workflows • Ensure all assigned work is completed accurately and without the need for follow-up • Communicate with clients primarily via email regarding logistics and status updates • Coordinate with attorneys and legal assistants to move work forward efficiently Requirements • 1-2 years of experience working as a legal assistant • Experience with Intellectual Property law is highly preferred • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Proactive and comfortable asking questions early to prevent errors • Reliable and consistent in managing recurring workflows • Clear and professional written communication skills in both English and Spanish • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously • Coachable mindset with interest in learning legal or intellectual property processes • Comfortable working in a fast-moving and execution-focused environment • Location and timezone: Remote, Eastern Standard Time (EST) • Working Hours: Monday to Friday • Expected call volume: Moderate to high (16-30 calls per day) • Software and Tools Required: - CRM: GoHighLevel
