Key Responsibilities Conduct foundational research in large-scale AI models, including Transformers, LLMs, and multimodal models. Develop novel algorithms and techniques for training, evaluating, and fine-tuning foundation models. Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate research findings. Collaborate with a global team of researchers and engineers on ambitious AI projects. Analyze complex datasets and large-scale model outputs to gain insights. Publish research results in leading AI conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL). Stay current with the state-of-the-art in AI research and contribute to the team's intellectual direction. Contribute to the open-source community by sharing code and insights where appropriate. Requirements Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field with a strong research focus. Demonstrated track record of research excellence in AI, particularly in large-scale models, deep learning, or natural language processing, evidenced by publications. Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX). Deep theoretical understanding of machine learning principles and algorithms. Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing environments. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly presenting complex research. Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, asynchronous team environment.
