They are seeking a Functional Analyst to bridge business needs with technology solutions, ensuring functional clarity and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into clear, functional specifications
- Define the “how” from a functional perspective to ensure aligned expectations between business, product, and technology teams
- Create and maintain updated functional documentation for ongoing projects
- Build functional documentation for existing products that currently lack it
- Supervise and support QA teams in creating and validating test cases
- Ensure that test cases cover the functional scenarios defined in the requirements
- Actively contribute to product roadmaps
- Propose product enhancements based on market trends, user needs, and best practices
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and other relevant materials
Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum of +3 years in a Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role
- Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- Experience collaborating with multiple product teams simultaneously
- Requirements elicitation and analysis techniques
- Functional documentation (user stories, use cases, workflows, diagrams)
- Basic understanding of QA processes and functional validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactivity in identifying functional gaps and suggesting improvements
- Collaboration and adaptability in multidisciplinary teams
- Product-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement
- Awareness of digital product market trends and emerging technologies is a plus
- Advanced level of English and/or Portuguese (desirable)
- Technical background in the following technologies: JavaScript, Node.Js, React, Git, Docker (desirable)
