American Health Associates is seeking a dynamic and passionate Healthcare Recruiter to help attract and hire exceptional talent across our growing organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and developing effective recruitment strategies to support quality patient care and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and other recruiting channels
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department leaders
- Maintain a robust candidate pipeline to support current and future hiring needs
- Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top healthcare talent
- Promote the organization's employment brand and culture to prospective candidates
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies
- Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership
- Facilitate the hiring process, including offer preparation, background checks, and onboarding coordination
- Build relationships with healthcare schools, professional associations, and community organizations to expand recruiting efforts
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences as needed
Skills
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare
- Data driven decision making skills required
- Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools
- Experience recruiting for laboratory, phlebotomy, or other healthcare positions
- SHRM, PHR, or other HR/recruiting certifications
